Chaudify API documentation

Chaudify is a browser-first tool site. Every tool runs entirely on the visitor's device, so there is no upload API behind them and nothing to integrate with. What is public is a small, deliberately stable surface: the discovery documents that describe the site to agents.

Discovery endpoints

These are the documents an agent should read first. All of them are GET, require no authentication, and return JSON.

DocumentPurpose
API catalog https://chaudify.com/.well-known/api-catalog Machine-readable index of the public API surface.
OpenAPI spec https://chaudify.com/openapi.json OpenAPI 3.0.3 description of the endpoints on this page.
MCP server card https://chaudify.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json Model Context Protocol server card: server identity and advertised capabilities.
Agent skills index https://chaudify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json Every other document on this page, each with a sha256 over the exact bytes its endpoint returns. It omits itself, because a document cannot contain its own hash.
Agent status https://chaudify.com/.well-known/agent-status Health check for agents confirming the site is reachable and serving.

Markdown content negotiation

Any HTML page on the site can be requested as markdown. Send Accept: text/markdown and the response body is the same page converted to markdown, with two differences worth knowing about:

  • Content-Type is text/markdown; charset=utf-8.
  • X-Markdown-Tokens reports an estimated token count for the markdown body, so you can budget a context window before reading it.

Responses vary on Accept, so cache them per representation rather than per URL.

Conventions and limits

Authentication
None. Every endpoint on this page is open and needs no key, account or token.
Uploads
None. No endpoint on this site accepts a file. Every tool converts in the browser, and the verification page shows how to confirm that yourself.
Payment
None. Every endpoint here is free, open and unauthenticated.
Stability
The discovery documents are the stable interface and are safe to depend on. Their shapes change rarely, and the OpenAPI description at https://chaudify.com/openapi.json is generated from the same list this page renders.
Privacy
Nothing on this site transmits a file to us. Everything is processed in the browser, and the privacy policy covers what that does and does not involve.
