Overview
This policy explains what information Chaudify ("we", "us") collects when you use chaudify.com and its tools, why, and the control you have over it. It covers the whole site, including every tool page.
One commitment shapes everything below: the files you process are handled by your own device and are never transmitted to us. Because nothing is sent to us, there is nothing for us to retain, leak, sell or hand over — and no deletion request is needed to remove something we never had.
By using Chaudify you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site.
Your files stay on your device
Every tool processes your file on the device in front of you. Images, text and documents are never transmitted to our servers, and there is no upload step, no temporary storage and no copy kept anywhere else. This applies to every tool on the site — image converters, PDF utilities, text tools and the rest.
Close the page and nothing of yours remains. There is no server-side copy to expire, because there was never one to begin with.
Third parties may learn something about your visit — your device, browser and the pages you open. None of them ever receive your files, because your files never leave your machine.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small. What is collected falls into four buckets:
- Security logs — your IP address and basic request information, kept short-term to prevent abuse and fraudulent traffic.
- Essential cookies — the minimum needed to keep the site working and secure.
- Aggregated analytics — Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, roughly where they come from, and which tools get used, so we can improve them.
- Messages you send us — if you email us, we hold your address and what you wrote, solely to reply.
We do not operate user accounts, so we hold no profile, no password and no record of what you have processed with our tools.
How we use it
- Keep the site running and protect it against abuse.
- Understand which tools are used, in aggregate, so we can improve them.
- Answer you when you write to us.
- Meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not build profiles of you, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have a legal effect.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA and comparable laws you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, to have it deleted, to object to how it is processed, to receive it in a portable format, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Because we hold no accounts and never receive your files, most requests can be answered quickly — there is genuinely very little about you for us to find. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with "Privacy request" at the start of the subject line.
You can also use every tool without registering, provide no personal information at all, block or clear cookies in your browser, or opt out of analytics entirely using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Do we sell your data?
No. We do not sell personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with advertising partners either, because we do not run advertising. Any contact details you send us are used solely to reply to your message.
Data retention
Security logs are kept only as long as needed to protect the site, then discarded. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. Support emails are kept while your question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up on the same thread, and are deleted on request.
Your files are not subject to any retention period, because we never receive them.
International transfers
Google Analytics operates globally, so visit statistics may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, Google relies on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. The content of your files is never transferred anywhere, because it never leaves your device.
Children's privacy
Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We require no account and no personal details to use the site, which limits what could be collected in the first place. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools, our providers or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will appear here before they take effect. Continuing to use Chaudify after a change means you accept the updated policy.
