Getting started

What is Chaudify?

Chaudify is a collection of free, privacy-first online tools — image converters and editors, PDF utilities, text tools, QR code generators, calculators and browser games. Every tool runs entirely inside your web browser, so the files you work with are never uploaded to a server. Open a tool, use it, close the tab.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no signup, no email confirmation and no password anywhere on the site. Every tool is available the moment you open its page, which is also why there is nothing for us to lose if our database were ever compromised.

Are the tools really free?

Yes. All tools are completely free with no premium tier, no trial period and no hidden costs. You never have to pay, register or hand over an email address to use a tool.

How do I find the right tool?

Use the search icon in the header to search by name, or browse the full directory and filter by category. If you are not sure where to start, the getting started guide walks through finding, opening and running a tool.

Do the tools work on mobile?

Yes. Every tool is built responsive and works on phones and tablets as well as desktops. Because processing happens on your own device, very large files will be slower on a phone than on a laptop — that is a limit of the hardware, not the tool.

Can I use the tools offline?

Once a tool page has loaded, the processing itself does not need a network connection, because nothing is sent to a server. If your browser has cached the page you can generally keep working with the tab open. We do not ship a full offline mode or installable app.

Privacy & security

Do my files get uploaded to your servers?

No. Every tool handles your file on your own device. There is no upload step, no temporary storage and no copy kept anywhere else. This applies to every tool on the site, including image converters, PDF utilities and text tools.

Is my data safe and private?

Your files are, because they never leave your device. What is collected is information about your visit rather than your content — things like IP address, device and browser characteristics, and the pages you view. Exactly what we collect, and why, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

What information do you actually collect?

Short-lived request logs including your IP address for security and abuse prevention, two essential cookies that keep the site working, and aggregated usage statistics from Google Analytics. That is the whole list. We do not build user profiles, we do not sell personal information, and we show no advertising.

Do you use cookies?

Only two kinds. Two essential cookies (chaudify_session and XSRF-TOKEN) keep the site working and secure, and Google Analytics sets _ga cookies so we can count visits. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, because we show no advertising. You can block or clear all of them in your browser settings and every tool still works.

How do I control tracking?

Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of analytics entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Either way every tool stays fully functional — nothing on this site is gated behind accepting cookies or analytics.

Are my files stored after I close the tab?

No. The file data lives in your browser's memory while the page is open and is released when you close or reload the tab. Because there was never an upload, there is no server-side copy for us to retain, and no deletion request is needed to remove one.

Is it safe to use Chaudify on a work computer?

Using the tools does not send your files anywhere, so the content of your work stays on the machine. What a corporate network may still see is ordinary web traffic to the site and to our third-party providers. If your organisation blocks those networks, the tools still work.

Tools & features

How many tools are available?

The catalogue grows continuously across image, PDF, text, QR code, calculator, security and game categories. The full, always-current list lives on the all tools page, which is the best place to check what exists today.

Which file formats are supported?

Image tools handle common web and photography formats including JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, HEIC and ICO, plus PSD and RAW files for some operations. PDF tools work with standard PDFs, and text tools work with plain text and common markup formats. Each tool page lists exactly what it accepts.

Is there a maximum file size?

There is no server-side size limit, because there is no server involved. The practical limit is your device's available memory — very large images or long PDFs can be slow or fail on a phone with limited RAM. If a file is too big to process, try it on a desktop browser.

Which browsers are supported?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari or Opera. Some advanced formats rely on newer browser features and specific image codecs, so keeping your browser up to date gives the best results. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Do the tools add watermarks or branding?

Never. Your output is your output — no watermark, no logo, no attribution line, no reduced quality to push you towards a paid version. There is no paid version.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. You keep every right to the files you process and the results you generate, and we make no claim over them. You remain responsible for making sure you have the right to use the material in the first place.

Why is a tool slow on large files?

Because the work is happening on your own device rather than on a server. That is the trade-off that keeps your file private. For heavy jobs, use a desktop browser, close other memory-hungry tabs, and give the tab a moment — progress is real, it just runs on your own machine.

Accounts & pricing

Will you ever introduce paid plans?

No. There is no roadmap item for a subscription tier, and no feature on the site is gated behind a payment.

Do I have to give you an email address?

Only if you want a reply. Writing to [email protected] means we will have your address and use it solely to answer your message. Nothing else on the site asks for it — there is no newsletter pop-up and no account to create.

How do I request a new tool?

Email [email protected] with the tool you have in mind and the task you are trying to accomplish. Every request is read, and the ones that can run entirely in the browser tend to get built.

How do I ask you to delete data about me?

Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" at the start of the subject line. Under GDPR, CCPA and comparable laws you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and we will action it. Because we hold so little — no accounts, no uploaded files — these requests are usually resolved quickly.

Troubleshooting

A tool is not working — what should I try first?

Reload the page, then try again in a private or incognito window, which rules out an interfering extension or a stale cached script. If it still fails, check that your browser is up to date and try a different browser. If none of that helps, report it and include your browser and operating system.

My download did not start.

Check your browser's download settings and whether it blocked an automatic download from this site — some browsers block the first download until you approve it. Also check that you are not in a private window that discards downloads when closed, and that you have free space on the device.

The output quality is lower than I expected.

Check the quality or compression setting before running the tool again — some formats are lossy by design and a second pass over an already-compressed file compounds the loss. For images, keep the original file and re-run from it rather than re-processing a previous output. If a tool appears to be losing quality at maximum settings, report it.

Why is the site slow on my phone?

The tools run on your device, so heavy processing competes with everything else on the phone for memory and processing power. Closing other tabs, avoiding very large files, and keeping the tab in the foreground while a job runs all help.

How do I report a bug or a wrong result?

Use the report issue page for a structured form, or email [email protected]. Include the tool name, what you expected, what happened, and your browser and operating system. Never send us your original file — we do not need it and we do not want a copy of your data.
