Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Chaudify (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these terms and of our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
What Chaudify is
Chaudify provides free, browser-based tools for image processing, PDF handling, text conversion, QR generation, calculation and other utilities, together with a directory and a blog. All processing happens on your own device. We do not store, transmit or access any files or data you process using our tools.
Because everything runs locally, the practical limits of a tool are the limits of your hardware and browser. We may add, change or retire individual tools at any time, and the catalogue is not a fixed or guaranteed list.
Who may use the service
The Service is open to anyone who can form a binding agreement in their jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on the type of content you are permitted to process.
Our tools and property
Chaudify — including every tool, the underlying source code, the interface and visual design, the tool names and descriptions, the written content and blog, the directory structure, and the Chaudify name and logo — is our property and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing on this site grants you ownership of, or any licence to, the Service or any part of it.
You are welcome to
- Use every tool as often as you like, at no cost, with no account.
- Use the results for personal, academic or commercial work.
- Keep and redistribute the files you create with the tools.
- Link to any page on this site from your own website or post.
- Ask us to build a tool you need.
Please do not
- Copy, clone, mirror or rebrand the tools or any part of the site.
- Scrape, bulk-harvest or republish our directory, content or tooling.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service as your own product.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer or extract the source of the tools.
- Present our work as yours, or use our name and logo without permission.
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a way that overloads it.
The distinction is simple: the output is yours, the tool is ours.
Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the content and files you process using our tools, and you must have the right to process them. You agree not to:
- Processing illegal, harmful or infringing content — including material that exploits minors, incites violence, or violates anyone's privacy.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers or networks, or probing them for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure.
- Interfering with, overloading or disrupting the Service or the networks connected to it.
- Circumventing any technical protection, rate limit or access restriction.
- Misrepresenting Chaudify, or impersonating us to collect information from our users.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the Service is being used in breach of this section. Since we do not host your content, we generally cannot see what you are processing in the first place — so enforcement is aimed at misuse of the Service itself rather than at your files.
Your files and content
You retain all rights to the files you process and to the results you generate. We claim no ownership and no licence over them. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive your content and therefore never store, review or share it.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Always retain the original file before processing it — the output of a lossy conversion or a compression cannot always be reversed.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Chaudify available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, following an infrastructure failure, or because of conditions outside our control. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual tools, at any time and without notice.
Because no tool requires an account or stored data, withdrawing a tool does not put any of your content at risk.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party analytics providers, and some pages reference external resources. These providers have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or practices, and links or integrations do not imply endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free or free of viruses, or that the output of any tool will meet your requirements.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk, and you are responsible for verifying any result before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chaudify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill or business interruption, arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
This includes, without limitation, loss resulting from a file being corrupted, a conversion producing an unexpected result, or a tool becoming unavailable. This limitation applies whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chaudify and its team against any claim, loss, liability or expense — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms, from your misuse of the Service or its tooling, or from content you processed that infringed the rights of a third party or violated applicable law.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these terms. Since there are no accounts to close, this means restricting access from a network or IP range rather than deleting a profile.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections concerning intellectual property, acceptable use, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and general provisions survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the revision date at the top always reflects the current version. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, so please check back periodically.
General
If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly — most issues are misunderstandings that a single email settles.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Chaudify regarding the Service.
